Nayi zamin naya aasman nahi milta
main dhuundata huun jise vo jahaan nahii milataa
nayee zamin nayaa aasamaan nahiin milataa
nayee zamin nayaa aasamaan bhii mil jaaye
naye bashar kaa kahiin kuchh nishaa nahiin milataa
vo teg mil gaii jis se huaa hai qatl meraa
kisii ke haath kaa us par nishaan nahiin milataa
vo meraa gaanv hai vo mere gaanv ke chuulhe
ki jin mein shole to shole dhuaan nahiin milataa
jo ik Khudaa nahiin milataa to itanaa maatam kyuuN
yahaan to koii meraa hamazabaan nahin milataa

its ironical how we all keep looking for humzabaan when it is but a fact that we all do speak very different languages :)
different languages?
Well.. I feel that with a very few exceptions all of us speak and understand the same language internaly, the language of heart.
Time, circumstances and a lot of other things put a shell around all of us and make us different.
Don't you think we all feel happy, laugh and be sad on almost similar things. Like the joy of being in love for the first time, pain of loosing a loved one etc.
Nice discussion there... i m reminded of another sher
Jise bhi dekhiye, vo apne aap mein gum hai,
Zubaan mili hai magar hum zubaan nahi milta..
do agree about the shell bit. it happens and it is natural. we live behind multiple shells.
still feel we all speak different languages though. most things that make most ppl happy don't even bother me. and i know its not just me - there are more bums u know ;)
and thats what makes it an interesting place, this world. and the beauty is in trying to understand others' languages. and accept them withing our own paradigms.
i completely agree with the point dharm. :)
